About Rakatak Set
Rakataks are very similar in shape to maracas, But unlike the African rattles, the rakataks are open at the top.
There is a slot in the tube-like body of the Rakataks, which contributes to the development of the sound.
In the sound tube there is a movable clapper that strikes on both sides when the instrument is moved, producing the characteristic sound of the rakatak, which is reminiscent of the pounding of horses.
Depending on the diameter of the sound tube, lighter or deeper tones are produced when you hit it, these can be recognized in our Rakatak range by the color of the club, yellow sounds the highest, brown the lowest.
The instrument set with all five rakataks is easy to use and invites you to play in a variety of ways.
